I invited multiple friends, had them install it through my link and when they opened the app it said not only i had invited no one, but no one had installed it despite there being evidence that they did install it through my link. Closed out of the app & changed browsers. Reopened capcut site & clicked on log in through mobile app, which brought up a qr code followed directions on phone w qr and that opened pro on desktop. In short, capcut caps out at intermediate level editing tools. Premiere or other big tools will have more advanced tools and effects in terms of color editing, audio editing, etc. Capcut simply does less. So i have the basic version of capcut and at one point when i exported a video, an add popped up saying i can get capcut pro for free by downloading the desktop version using a specific code. Like can i actually do that? If it is legit, what happens if you lost the code? Now it's just my opinion however i come from a professional background of 25 plus years as a multimedia artist. I've worked professionally on pretty much every editor out there from premier pro/final cut/ sony vegas etc.
